Updates

12/12

With the weather these past weeks, we've had trouble getting the final buildings completed!

We are currently working on the last building and weather permitting, will finish up with everything next week!

Thank you for your patience! Happy Holidays!

11/29

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break!

As anticipated, the weather has prevented us from progressing on the railings today.  We will return as soon as weather permits.

Please understand with this delay it's unlikely we will complete the project this week and it will move into next week.

The cold temps also create challenges for our crew so please be patient as their fingers don't work as well when it's cold:)

Buildings 8 and 9 are all that remain.

11/16

With the snow and colder temperatures, we've slowed down some on the railing progress.

We expect to finish building 7 today, then move onto building 8. We will continue work on building 8 tomorrow.

We won't be working Friday, 11/18 due to weather. With the holiday next week, we have a few techs who will be taking a couple days off and traveling. Therefore, we expect to wrap everything up the following week (week of 11/28).

11/07

Building 4 will wrap up today with building 5 underway as well. We expect to finish building 5 Wednesday, moving onto building 6 and wrapping that building up by the end of the week (all weather permitting).

We expect to move onto building 7 Monday, 11/14.

Thank you again for your cooperation throughout this project!

11/02

We are currently working on building 3 and expect to button it up on Friday, 11/04.

We will then move onto building 4 on Friday, 11/04, weather permitting, and continue to work on that building into the early part of next week.

10/31

The first two buildings are complete!

We will be starting on the 3rd building (11305) tomorrow, Tuesday, 11/01, weather permitting.

10/27

The front railing replacement project is progressing nicely.

Building 11336 railing replacements will finish today. In addition, building 11316 started today and we expect to wrap it up early next week. Mid-next week we will be moving onto building 11305.

We continue to thank you for your cooperation throughout this project!

10/21

The railing project is underway! We started on the first building (11336) and expect to continue working on that building the later part of next week, weather permitting.

Our crew will be off site Monday - Wednesday, however Thursday and moving forward will be back and working diligently on this project.

We anticipate as we get into this project a bit further we will move forward from building to building quicker, however these first units will take a bit longer as we get into the groove of the project.

There have been a couple rotten deck boards found which require replacement to secure the new railings.

We will post notices to each building/unit prior to starting work so please keep an eye out for those notices.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work through this project.

In an effort to maintain and enhance the exterior of your home, the association is about to embark on a project to replace the front deck railings on your unit.

Specifically, the work to be done will include:

  • Remove the existing front deck railing
  • Install new aluminum front deck railing
  • Remove and dispose of all debris from project

Work will begin Wednesday, 10/19 (weather permitting).

  • You do NOT need to be home for any of this work. Everything will be done on the exterior only.
  • Please have all personal items removed from your front deck prior to the start of the job.
  • For your safety, please avoid using the front deck throughout the duration of construction.
  • If there are any items left on the deck which get damaged during construction please understand the contractor will NOT be liable for such damage.
  • Please note that we will do our best to protect the siding and lattice/privacy fence where the deck rails connect (where applicable), however despite our best efforts damage might occur and matching as a result is NOT guaranteed.
  • We expect each railing to take approx. ½-1 day to complete. Notices will be posted as we progress through the project. Please also visit the client communication portal to obtain updates, schedule conflicts, etc.

Timing

We will replace 1-1½ railings a day (weather permitting). Attached below is a map with the building order. We will start with the building labeled 1, move onto the building labeled 2, and so on. We will post notices on units before starting to work on that building/unit as we progress through the project.
