Native to the western suburbs of the Twin Cities, Adam McMahon has been our master carpenter since April of 2021. He got his introduction to the construction world over 20 years ago when he started working with stucco siding on premium housing around Lake Minnetonka. It was around this time that he realized he really liked the construction industry. His next move was to work on siding with a friend of his for around a year and a half in the early 2000s. Following this stint, Adam decided to start his own business, where he completed siding jobs for newly constructed homes by Lennar and Dr. Horton. This really sparked a further passion for Adam in construction.
Following years of running his own business, Adam felt he was ready for a change. This is when he started working in the property maintenance world. He would end up working for city maintenance for about nine years. During this period of time, he met some great connections, including Capital Construction employees Bryan Flicek, Josie Flicek, and Zach Hunter. When he was offered the lead role, he wasn't thrilled with the offer and decided to move elsewhere. It was during this transitional phase at a new company that Adam got the call from Bryan to come work at Capital.
Today, Adam fits in perfectly with the other members of the production crew. His favorite parts about working for Capital include the people, the atmosphere, making customers happy, and driving to be better each and every day through his work. He describes himself as hard-working, easy-going, polite, and charismatic.
Outside of carpentry and construction work, Adam has hobbies such as fishing, golfing, camping, boating, enjoying a bonfire, and more! His absolute favorite is snowmobiling, and he makes it a goal each year to get out in the mountains and enjoy the place where he is most happy. His family, which consists of his fiancé Sara and his son Louie, is another pride and joy of his life.
