Project Description
Hail damaged this home's roof. The roof was replaced with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in the color Charcoal!
Then, the homeowners wanted to modernize the look of their home AND install a more protective product to withstand the harsh Minnesota elements.
They created a rendering with the project consultant, Cole Quinnell.
They decided to bring this vision to life using Exterior Portfolio Market Square vinyl lap siding in the color Slate on the sides and back of the home.
This is a common phenomenon we call the Minnesota Mullet. It's when the front of the home is hardboard siding and the sides and back of the home are vinyl! This is a great option if you want to up your curb appeal, but you don't want to empty your pockets doing so!
For the front of the home, they chose to go with LP Smartside. On the lower parts of the home, the lap siding was installed, and on the gables and higher points of the home, they chose Board & Batten. The color for these materials is Midnight Shadow.
