The newest member of the estimation team, Angie Olson, has hit the ground running at making positive impacts in her work and relationships here at Capital Construction. She is a Colorado Springs native and also lived in Hill City, Kansas, for a period of time during her youth. In 1993, she moved to Minnesota, where she has been ever since!

Before joining Capital, Angie gained incredible experience in multiple positions. She was a claim specialist for 12 years, an estimation writer for two years, and worked in administration for five years. Another reason she is so skilled for the role is her knack for keeping up with new systems and technology within the estimation world. She knows when the industry grows out of certain programs and processes, vocalizes these changes, and takes the necessary steps to implement them here at Capital.

A cool skill of hers is that she is always on top of hail storms. In previous roles, it was vital to keep a pulse on where storms were happening across the nation and what their consequences were. These practices stuck around, as she still monitors storms nationwide. Odds are, she can tell you what is going on at any given place and time!

In her free-time, Angie likes to read, golf, cook, and spend time with her three beloved dogs. Her favorite part about Capital is the friendly co-workers she interacts with each day. Capital Construction is incredibly happy to have Angie around and proud to have given her what she considers a dream job.
